Paper Lanterns Paper & Template Pack

A dedicated pack created to support the Paper Lantern Sew-Along hosted by Sue Daley. This sew-along first ran on Sue’s blog during the 2020 lockdown and remains a fun, easy to follow project for anyone wanting to join in. There is no printed pattern available for purchase. All weekly steps are published on Sue Daley’s blog, so please follow along there for guidance and updates.

This quilt is entirely English Paper Pieced and is an ideal project for beginners. The pack provides the essential papers and templates needed to participate.

Pack includes 400 Floral Lantern Jewels pre-cut papers and acrylic template, 150 Half Hexagons pre-cut papers and acrylic template, 24 2 inch Hexagons pre-cut papers and acrylic template.

No printed pattern is included. Instructions are available on Sue Daley’s blog.

Paper requirements if you prefer not to reuse papers 424 Floral Lantern Jewels, 262 Half Hexagons, 24 2 inch Hexagons.

This pack is designed to keep costs down. To complete the quilt using this pack, you will need to reuse 24 Floral Lantern Jewels and 62 Half Hexagons. Removing papers as you join your blocks will allow you to reuse them later in the project and will also make final paper removal much easier.
